Most of our Tahoe models use a 5.3-liter V8 engine. This engine can make 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. If you prefer diesel, you could get your SUV set up with a 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel, which delivers 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Available on select trims and standard on the High Country is a 6.2-liter V8 engine. This larger V8 will provide you with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
